"'The History of Latinos in Milwaukee' is a mural, located on the north wall of the Bruce-Guadalupe Community School building. Henry David Thoreau - Plaque Dedication in Milwaukee 9/27

On June 27th 1861, Henry David Thoreau and his traveling companion, Horace Mann, Jr., arrived in Milwaukee by train. They stayed one night at the Lake House Hotel on Ferry and Lake Streets, site of today's Colectivo Coffee.
