Happy Birthday, George Orwell!

While he's not around to celebrate (He'd be 111 years old, if he was), today is the birthday of author George Orwell. One of the authors whose classic works get thrust upon us during our school years, his name should be familiar to many. His work, especially Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm, have had a lasting impact on literature, culture, and society.
