Climb Aboard with Chris Van Allsburg This Saturday!
This Saturday, November 21, come to the downtown Central Library to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Polar Express with a visit from award-winning author and illustrator Chris Van Allsburg. Festivities include Van Allsburg-inspired art stations (including a special art activity led by Artists Working in Education), model trains presented by the Lionel Railroad Club of Milwaukee, and a presentation by Van Allsburg himself followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase by co-host Boswell Books Company.
