The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin is a book lover’s dream. The author explores how books connect us to people, using the bookstore owner’s recommendations. I was moved by the character’s life experiences, both sad and joyful. It reminded me of how important locally owned bookstores are to the community.
