Rain on the Dead by Jack Higgins

Another Sean Dillon thriller, just as fast a ride as the other 20 or so in the series. This time Sean Dillon is involved in defending the former president of the US, Jake Cazalet from the Chechen terrorists who target him for death. In his investigation, Dillon finds a name from his past that makes his blood run cold. This is a very smart and skilled assassin and Dillon can just hope that the next attempt is not successful.
