Join us for Art & Soul, an inspiring afternoon of creativity and community! From 12 to 4 PM at the East Branch, patrons of all ages are invited to enjoy refreshments, music, and a variety of hands-on artmaking activities throughout the library.

Explore your artistic side with interactive stations and contribute to a community art installation for the library, then cap off the day with a dynamic, interactive modern dance performance by Catey Ott Dance Collective.

Free and open to the public—come create with us!

12-3 p.m. Reading Room:

  • Mini Masterpieces 
  • Print and Design Your Own Tote Bag
  • Collaborative Digital Art with MPL Makerspaces until 1:30 p.m. 
  • Friends of the Milwaukee Public Library Book Sale 

1-2:30 p.m. Reading Room:

  • Make Teeny Tiny Books with Rochelle Melander

12-3 p.m. Teen Area: 

  • Friendship Bracelets 

12-3:30 p.m. Room 115:

  • Calm Oasis - a low-stimulation environment where you can de-stress and regulate your senses.

Modern Dance Performance 3 p.m. in the Community Room
