How To Participate

Step 1

Visit any Milwaukee Public Library or sign up at mpl.beanstack.org to get started. 

• Ages 0 – 5 years old for HIGH FIVE BINGO – TALK, SING, READ, PLAY, WRITE
  • Pick up a High Five Bingo Card, a free book, a window Cling or Yard Sign.
• Ages 6 – 12 years old for Super Reader Squad
  • Pick up a Badge Book, a free book, a window Cling or Yard Sign.

Step 2

Set aside time to read every day and track.

Step 3

Check in at your favorite branch to share your progress and to receive great reading recommendations throughout the summer.

Step 4

Complete the summer reading program:

HIGH FIVE BINGO

Receive one Grand Prize Drawing entry by:

• Reading 2 hours is the only way to complete the challenge.
•  Completing a BINGO
• Filling the entire BINGO sheet

Up to 3 prize drawing entries total for completing all activities.

GRAND PRIZE: HIGH FIVE BINGO

• One winner from each MPL location wins a Betty Brinn Children’s Museum Family Membership!                         

SUPER READER SQUAD

•  Read for 15 hours to complete the challenge.
• Complete 5 book reviews
• Complete the Summer Badge Book

Up to 5 prize drawing entries total for completing all activities.

GRAND PRIZE: SUPER READER

• One winner from each MPL location wins a Discovery World Family membership.
