The Central Library’s Richard E. and Lucile Krug Rare Books Room is the home of books and materials that merit special protection and care. Learn about the unique treasures available to the public during this slide presentation of rarities including:
• Original Walt Disney animation cells
• Historic trade cards from Milwaukee businesses
• Illuminated manuscript by artist Susan Frackelton
• Artist’s papers made from grass, vegetables and leather
• And one of the world’s weirdest books!
We'll discuss these jewels and more at the East Branch Library on Friday, February 13th from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
The East Branch is located at 2320 N. Cramer St, with a free surface lot accessible from Cramer Street and Thomas Avenue.
