This Saturday is International Games Day at the Library!
There's a big, blossoming world out there of designer games. It's not just all Monopoly, Connect Four, and 'You Sunk My Battleship!' anymore. This Saturday, Milwaukee Public Library will be participating in ALA's International Games Day with its mission "to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games." We've partnered with local store Board Game Barrister to host some games at the Downtown Central Library location, and local company Minion Games generously donated some games you'll be able to play out at the Atkinson and Forest Home branch locations.
Just stop in from 1-4 this Saturday at one of the three libraries hosting the event (Central, Forest Home, and Atkinson, to reiterate), and have some fun!
