Lincoln Mondy - Building Youth Power, Act Up at Washington Park

Youth are often too young to vote, but old enough to engage in social activism. They have been at the forefront of almost every social movement in America: the Civil Rights movement, Vietnam War protests, advocating for gun control, clean water, racial equity, LGBTQ+ rights, and Black Lives Matter. This interactive workshop is designed for youth and young adults. Youth ages 15 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. The event is open to youth groups. Lunch will be provided.
