Teen Poetry Contest
Congratulations to the 2024 Teen Poetry Contest Winners
Each year, the MPL Teen Advisory Board hosts a Teen Poetry Contest with a culminating Teen Poetry Fest at the Mitchell Street branch. Milwaukee poet Brit Nicole and 2023-24 Milwaukee Youth Poet Laureate, Emily Igwikie, created a safe space for attendees of all ages to share their poetry or read poems by others, while Ay! Chihuahua served up delicious coffee drinks. Catch us next year for another great event, and congratulations to this year's winners!
