(re) Visions: words into pictures, pictures into words at Central

Monday, April 01, 2024 - 12:00 AM

Audience: Adults/ Older Adults

Categories: Arts & Crafts/DIY, Educational Interest, Community Groups

(re) Visions: words into pictures, pictures into words is the collaborative work of Karen Peugh, photographer, and CJ Muchhala, poet. In this exhibit of 11 photographs and 10 poems, the photographs paired with poems are not meant to be illustrative, just as the poems written in response to the photographs are not intended to be descriptive. The intent is to explore the intersection of visual and literary art, and to expand the meaning of both images and words on a variety of subjects, from humans' interactions with Lake Michigan and a child's view of her grandmother, to pinned fabric pieces and found sidewalk art.

Location: Main Street - Exhibit
