About MPL
To our Community:
I am thrilled to announce the completion of our Community Engagement Report, which is a direct result of the invaluable data and insights generously shared by individuals throughout our community over the past year. The feedback we received played a crucial role in helping us better understand the needs and preferences of the diverse communities we are privileged to serve.
Starting in January 2023 with our "Community Conversations with the City Librarian," and continuing throughout the summer, we listened to feedback and preferences on library services. The result? Nearly 5,000 residents graciously shared their thoughts and opinions, shaping the foundation of this comprehensive report.
To explore the findings, please visit getloudmpl.com. There, you'll find:
- A succinct 4-page overview capturing the key insights.
- A comprehensive 28-page report offering detailed analysis.
- Interactive charts allowing you to filter data.
- Audio clips and notes of appreciation, giving voice to our community members.
We are grateful for all the feedback and support of the library’s mission we've received throughout this process and look forward to continuing to improve our services and resources based on this valuable information.
