Author and professional certified coach Rochelle Melander will teach you fun ways to renew your energy, improve your mood, and help you focus.

Preserving Family Memories

Whether in boxes under the bed or basement most of us have family photographs and letters that are important to us. Preserving these precious items can feel like a challenge. In this workshop a Milwaukee Public Library archivist will share solutions to common challenges of preservation, specifically for photographs and letter. Participants will receive a preservation starter kit.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is committed to providing exceptional outdoor recreation opportunities for people of all abilities around the state. Open the Outdoors is a resource for all of the available recreation options for individuals with disabilities. Nick Zouski, DNR Accessibility Coordinator, will share local highlights from Open the Outdoors program including adaptive kayaks, accessible cabins and trails, and more!

Dementia 101

Interested in learning more about dementia? This presentation is a basic overview of  dementia and the disease types. Learn the definition of dementia and the different diseases that cause dementia, how dementia changes the brain and communication tips for working with those with dementia. Presented by the Milwaukee County Department on Aging.
